That's the only thing I miss about living back East. The opportunity to plow through snow with my H2 (not the miserable cold-ass weather).

Damn, that's a lot of snow. How did you get out of it? Snowblower?

Shovel and a snow blower! After the drive way was cleared, its was off in the H2 to explorer the storm! I was the only one on the road other then the plows, that being said, I had allot of fun ripping though snow banks!

Tim:

There was a thread that ended last week about ice build-up in the center of the H2 windshield while driving in snowfall. One of the members bought heated windshield wipers and said it solved the problem.

Any comment on any of this from your experience?

Good looking H2, good looking dogs, and nice snow pics.

George

I haven’t had any issues yet other then when you’re driving, the wipers tend to freeze up quick. I find myself having to pull over on long trips to break off the ice. I may look into that tread about heated wipers.

Tim:

The title of the thread is "Cure for ice in center of windshield," with the last post being on 1-23-05. Start reading from the latest posts going backwards since some of the early stuff was just us floundering around until we became focused on the heated wiper blades.

BTW: My money's on Brady and his boys

Best Regards,

George

yeah, I did some treading around here in Jersey too Saturday, through Saturday night and Sunday...we got a total of about 18"....ended up taking a bunch of my friends to the bar Saturday night!! we were the only vehicle on the road, it was hysterical...and my friends were knocking on how there was no way we would have made it otherwise....pretty much everyone else had to walk to/from the only pad open in our town.

this was my first time to 'play' w/ the beast, we drove up and down hilly streets that weren't plowed w/ 8-10" of snow, no problems...the only time I slide was on steep straight decents, but nothing really to get nervous about. I have a pic of her in the driveway I'll try to dig off the digital camera!

I did notice the wipers got frozen up VERY fast....trick seemed to be to leave it on defrost only and on 90degrees and high, and keep them moving!! I'll have to checkout the heated wipers thread too.
