Greetings from the H3 side...
In May of 05 I flew to Dallas and imported the first H3 in the state of Arizona.
I love my rig for countless reasons and although I could care less, the rockstar feeling I get from all the head turning is kind of a bonus.
The thing is, I've always wanted an H2. I remember the first H2 that I ever saw driving down the street, I said to myself "Damn! I want one of those".
Even when I first learned of the H3 I was actually shopping for an H2. I could be a two Hummer guy, that's not an issue, my questions are these:
Would you recommend an H2? I mean, Are you folks happy with your rig? Any regrets?
What should I know before I go shopping, are there any (confirmed) upgrades planned in the future like an H2 Alpha, disel, etc?
Would you wait for anything or would you buy one tomorrow?
Thanks for your input.

Should I finish the Pi post?
Killian, the H2 is great. We've got two H3's joining us this weekend. Next week I'll give my personal opinion on the vehicles, just like I did after the Paragon trip two weeks ago.

Killian....
2/25/2006 will go down as one of my happiest days. This was the day i traded my H3 in for an H2. took a little convincing (trading in a new vehicle with 9k miles for a used vehicle with 19k miles) but after a short ride the wife was hooked.
I can honestly say i am glad we started with the H3 to just get a general feeling for the vehicles. Kind of like before buying a harley road king maybe one should start with dyna super glide to get the feel. ours is an 03 with 19k miles. the one thing i noticed (but didnt surprise me due to info from forum members) is all the damn little rattles from this thing. but thats no biggy. also the gas mileage. i averaged roughly 15-16 with the H3. the h2 i am around 12.5 over 400 miles. nothing noticeable.
GET the 2. you will be happy. plus the difference in room is HUGE. both are deceptive in size but the 3 justw as way to cramped. much cozier in the 2.......then again these are just my 2cents

I traded my 6 month old/6,000 mile 2006 H3 for a new/leftover 2005 H2 SUT.
I was very happy with the H3 and I was afraid I would regret trading. However, I'm pleased to report, after 2 months/1,800 miles, that I like my H2, even more.
Right now, there are some great deals on new H2's and H3's bring a good trade-in price. Therefore, trading now isn't as crazy as it may seem.

Trading's not crazy. It's an addiction... I'm on my third H2 already. I love 'em.
