I have a 03' 2500 Burb thats bone stock and would like to upgrade the wheels and tires. Anyone know?
How much would I need to lift it? If at all. There is a ton of room under that those skinny stockers just can't fill...
If they will fit I would be interested in a set of wheels/tires if anybody has a set...
thanks so much...

I believe they are the 8 on 6 bolt pattern, so yes, they should fit.

If you can send me a picture of you fitting a watermelon in your poop chute, you can have mine.

The new bodystyle GM trucks have much wider openings than the '99s and older.... however, I'd think you'd still need a minimum of 3" of lift. (even if it's a bodylift)
If you find that it'll work, I've got a set of stock wheels and tires.

They might fit. A 2500 has more clearance than a standard burb and our wheels are offset.
Where are you, maybe you could try a spare on one of your fronts.
Our wheel/tire heights are about 34.5" and the 2500 burbs are about 32.75". With the cushion GM gives (for instance we can run 37") you might can fit 'em in there.

Paragon,
How did you come up with 34.5"? I measured my stock set of tires and they were only 33" tall. (granted, they were more than half worn)
Just wondering, sounded kind of tall to me. The 33's would be more consistent with the 'burb's 32.75" that you mentioned.

Mark </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Actually, it's considered that we have 35s. But since our model tire are 315/70X17s, it converts to about a 34.5".
Several of us discussed this in detail in the past and there was some conversion chart. I just remember those tire sizes. I think I am in the general ballpark on it.
