We had a big group, think it was like 8 H2's and 6 Jeeps and some guy in an H1 , so we probably did not cover as much ground as we may have if we had less. Sorry guys that we didn't get to Hummer Hill.
We did take a few trucks through the very lower section of Voodoo. (For the hardcore offroaders out there I do mean the lower section, make no mistake we did NOT run all of Voodoo) The jeeps ran through it with what I thought was relative ease (relative on Voodoo is a subjective term) with lots of scraps and bangs but they did make it through. Small wheel base certainly has its advantages in places (GM/Hummer are you listening, can you say H4). We did have one H2 take a run at it. The going was a little tougher but after a tug in a spot he banged his way through. ok, the bumper and exhaust are still a but miffed
I for one am not one for the whole jeep vs hummer thing. You wheel your cool, regardless of your choosen mode of transportation. You get stuck or you break I'm helpin out. However I will say I was very impressed with the cabability of a stock Rubicon and anyone who wants to talk smack down should be careful what they say. This truck will impress.
Videos and more pics are coming soon.
