I had a great morning. It tis in the 70's here, windows are open- smells like outside inside.
Went to Starbucks and the park. Watched some little kids- very little- tear up a half pipe. Very cool, almost makes me want to get out and skate again, but I would hurt something I'm sure.
I will go ride my bike around this afternoon. I feel like firing up the grill tewnight. Beer sounds excellent.

Got the race on in the background. Just watching to see Gordo lose it again. Tangling with Kenseth of all people....that guy has the personality of a piece of cardboard.
Was busy this morning (envy you BIG time Mrs....kid wakes up at 6-6:30 every freakin' morning. I need to get drunk and sleep late! )...finally put up a canopy over my garden to keep the squirrels out (the little bastards stole about 30 peppers last year), also planted cantaloupes and watermelon (which were eaten by mice-ratlike things last year....got traps out this time, caught 2 in the past 3 days!).
Kid is busy making pterodactyl noises instead of napping. Got him doped up on Tylenol big time - front 2 teeth are coming in, poor kid. Plus this whole time shift has really thrown his schedule off. Oh well.
Finding things to do inside now as well - it's supposed to be hot here too. Hit 91 yesterday, yuck. Got a good reason to stay in tho....hubby sent over a box of about 12 boxes of chocolates he picked up in Germany. Time to OD.

My parents visited for the weekend which was nice. Yesterday we took Reed to a aquarium in Boston which he really enjoyed. That was alot of fun.
This morning Reed, Grampy and I went to the hardware store. Reed wanted to ride the garden tractors. Okay... I went off and did my thing while Reed hung with Graps.
Shopping done I go to pick Reed up and put him on my shoulders for a ride out to the H3. He is okay with that but starts freaking halfway up...
And kicks me...
In the eye...
Owe...
Nice shiner.
Then we went to the playground and threw a tennis ball for Ipe. Gots to heart teh Chuck-It!
Overall a good day.

Drove back from Raleigh w/ the kids today. So nice out we drove all the way home with the windows down jamming to System of a Down. Haylee loves the song BYOB...she calls it "her drum song". LOL!
Gonna wash the Humma, and get the brushgaurd on..pics will come soon!
As for tonight....probably hope that someone will be chatting b/c I'll predict that I'm gonna be bored tonight...again.

Cleaned the H3, took the kids and my puppy to the rail to trails and we walked about 6 miles, kids walking down to the stream to throw stones, working on teaching them how to skip. Funny I grew up less than 5 miles from where we live now and how different the place is. Our parents could not keep us off the train tracks was we walked with our bb guns shooting snakes in the stream. Now the kids walk the rails to trails with me we are scowled at by the yuppies as we walk our dog as they hike in their designer sweats sipping their froathy coffe based drinks discussing their rough life finding a nanny who will do laundry. Oh yeah, came back to my H3 parked amongst the Pirus, Escape Hybrid, and other Green cars, loaded the kids and one dirty wet dog in came home and cleaned the Hummer one more time.
