Finally got some pictures without cement or asphalt in them. We were planning on just going out in the country for a while.

Ended up on a Forest Service road that all of the sudden went to just two ruts in the snow. No other vehicle with us.

Wife didn't like the sliding around with a minor drop on the right side, enough that if we got down there, we would have needed someone to pull us out. We were in 4 low and got to a wide bend in the road and managed to angle around with her guiding me so we didn't get too close to the edge.

Wife's comment at home was "why did you buy a new car, if you're just trying to wreck it!! Why bother buying a new car!!

Ran into an old friend at the store when we got back to town, showed him where we went and his comment was I wouldn't be up there in the winter.

Your wife's comments are hilarious calling the H3 a car, and going offroad meaning you are trying to destroy your new car, I mean truck.

She was just mad about the deep snow and that we could have slid over the side of the road. If that had happened, we would have been ok, not a major drop, just that we would have been stuck since we were by ourselves at the top of the mountain.

One co-worker said her husband has to take his 4x4 up there at least once a week to get someone's 4x4 out. He told one guy - snow's too deep they would get it when the snow melted...

I showed one friend at work Neocon's pic's from last weekend and he just cringed.

My boss said that's what Hummers are made for - off roading!!!

Took my wife with me, up into the back country on some mild forest roads when we'd had about 6 inches of new snow. First time the truck danced a little she grabbed the door handle and bailed out. Boom. She was gone.

Honey....Honey....I begged her to stay in the truck, but she was out the back almost getting sick she was so scared. SOOOO....No 4W'ing with wifey! She can stay home and put STUFF.

I guess all those years bouncing around in the back of Dad's CJ7 when I was a kid dulled my senses.....

Sounds like the first time I took my wife on a wave runner in the Sea of Cortez (Mexico). She didn't realize that I was going to operate this thing at full speed. Of course I'm going to run it WFO, that's the purpose.

But I did enjoy the pictures in the snow.
