Here I thought this subject was rested. Not sure how much I have to show to say there is only one gear ratio; 4.56:1? But I will say this is the LAST time I will display any information on what the gear ratio is. If those who want to disbelieve continue to disbelieve, the so be it; I am not losing any more time on the matter.
The following is everything that is in the GM parts manual for total axle replacement. They list two different rear axle assemblies. I'm sure some will still disbelieve, and personally, I don't care.

GM PART PART USAGE DESCRIPTION
15822875 N1 4.56R (HC4), CHAS PKG (Z85) AXLE,RR (4.56 RATIO) (CODE 01 ------ list Display Part FD3,HL1,HU5,JN2) (05.386)

15822876 N1 4.56R (HC4), OFF ROAD SUSP PKG AXLE,RR (4.56 RATIO) (CODE 01 ------ list Display Part(ZM6) EX5,FD4,HL2,HU6,JN3) (05.386)

Sorry if the format is not that enjoyable to read, but this is a direct copy from the GM parts manual. Please notice there are two axles, and that is ALL that they have for replacement. Therefore, with the running of vehicle history builds on all the applicatons possible, the information from the manager of this section, and the parts manual replacments for the axles, I feel this subject should be put to rest. If not, feel free to speculate. But as someone said about opinions....
