More trouble for DEI. From KNOXNEWS:

...there seem to be more problems at DEI: John Menard, the wealthy businessman who is helping bankroll Teresa Earnhardt's operation for racer-son Paul, may be ready to pull out, too. Menard could wind up back working with struggling Robby Gordon - the two have long been business partners, and Gordon is trying to get his team righted again.

JR may be near a decision. You can read somethings into this quote from PaddockTalk:

Earnhardt Jr. told reporters this week that, "Things are looking good. We are making forward progress everyday and I am getting really excited. I think the time frame that Kelley wants to have something done is going to be ok. (Ed. Note - End of June) I think that is what is going to happen. I thought it would take a lot longer than that. I am bad about sitting on this decision, and taking a lot of time to make this decision to make sure I make the right one. Once I am pretty clear on what I need to do, I am pretty excited to announce something. I don't want to get specific but we are happy with the situation. Happy with being in the situation. BTW, Gibbs is certainly out. Not just because of the Budwieser affiliation, but rumors JGR will be switching to Toyota engines at the end of this year when their contract expires with Chevy. Toyota's belief is they just need a top team with the best equipment to succeed.
