Re: What inspired your username?
Mines after Oldsmobile 442 ..Duh I had to spell it with a to instead of two because when I set up email many years ago I couldnt go over 10 letters.
I think that was with AOL or net zero I use yahoo now I dont think your limited to 10 anymore ,I just kept it fourfourto.
Ive had a 69,70,and a 72 over the years there long gone
Ive had the 68 for 13 years

Re: What inspired your username?
I thought I'd shake things up a bit in here. Why "Hippy"? because I am a left wing (not radical), liberal, democrat voting, save the planet, pro-choice, anti death penalty, free speach loving, hippy (at heart). I bathe everyday, shave everyday, don't wear patchouli (can't even spell it). Sometimes I have long hair. Support our troops. And love driving an H3!

Re: What inspired your username?
I just used a name from the phone book.
DRTYFN is actually a mistake. His was supposed to be DRTYFUNK for the stuff between his toes, but he missed the "U" and "K" before hitting the "submit" button. Now he's stuck with it.

Re: What inspired your username?
to make a long story short,
i played guitar for a coverband (rhythm guitar) and had been playing for 7-8yrs.
well one day the "band leader" so to speak held a secret meeting to discuss the new path of the band.
as i walked up to the door i heard them talking about me, it seemd that they were letting me go since they felt that 1 guitar in a band was enough so they didn't need 2 (this was after performing with them for close to 3yrs)
in short i was devistated, i was being removed from the 1 thing i was ever really good at...
after that several opportunities arose that offered me an "only guitar slot" in a few bands, but since i was ALWAYS the 2nd "rhythm" guitar i didn't have the confidence to carry the weight of the whole band alone....so i declined.
and then 1 day...the very same guitarist from the band that let me go, looked me in the eye and basicly afirmed that I HAD THE ABILITY to carry a band...just not the confidence....so i said fuk it and gave it a whirl...
so close to 4yrs after leaving the stage......I returned...stronger and louder than ever.....thus the term (((echo)))
i know....it's cheezy
