I don't think we really have any politicians that are smarter than 5th graders. The founding fathers would be very upset to know that American politics has been demeaned to a level of choosing the least of all evils to represent us. George, John, Thomas, et al are rolling over in their graves.
I think the worst part of that speech is that he never caught himself. Even when the audience laughed at him. Ugh. I hate politicians.
