As a four year Hummer owner. I agree strongly with the jealousy & envy part. I would also add point #8:
8. When there is 18 inches of snow on the ground, you and your Hummer suddenly become everyone's best friend.

During the Blizzard of '05 in Upstate New York, I had over one dozen calls from friends and business associates that needed to get somewhere. Our family doctor, who lives a mile away, even called and asked me if I could take him in to his office. Our son and daughters are the same way about the Hummer too - if they have to go somewhere and the Hummer is here, it's take us "in the Hummer." After little league baseball it's always Mr. X can you take us home in the Hummer.
