What kind of roof rack is that? where did you buy them and how much did you pay? do they creat wind noise?

This rack is pretty much one of a kind (well, at least how it's mounted).
the towers and x-bars are Yakima but, to mount them was a little more difficult.
At the time, Yakima did'nt have the mounting plates that go into the rail so, I used the mounting plates from the factory tie down hoops.
The problem is that their are only four that come w/ the H3 rails and, you need eight for the Yakima towers, I was lucky enough to find a damaged rail from an H3 at the dealer that was being sent back to the factory and, the parts guy was nice enough to give the four tie down hoops w/mounting plates to me!
That was October 2005, now Yakima might have the mounting plates on the market!
At this point, no noise. once I get the Load Warrior basket on it, it might make a little noise!
Price, about $275.00 (towers, x-bars and locks).

I bought the Yakima towers at RACKNROAD In Salt Lake,
The X-bars on ebay, The ski rack at REI. I also have Lock Jaw bike racks that I bought on ebay.
I will be adding a Load Warrior basket soon!
