Default New Steering Wheel

I have the old two toned, black &tan, 2003 steering wheel and I cant stand the way it looks. Can the tan center airbag piece be painted/stained black?

I have used a product in the distant past called MARHYDE that worked great. It's a paint-type product made for vinyl, dashes etc... I always used the spray can, but I think it comes in a can so you can gun. By the way, I agree with you, that two-tone steering wheel is UGLY!!! Of course the other option is to watch ebay for a while...I've seen some (new and used) sell at very reasonable prices. Good luck.

Yeah, you can find new covers and whatnot out there. They swap in and out. Just turn off the vehicle and put a pin in the those small holes on each side of the airbag area and the cover should pop off.
