All your kiddies have a good first day? Four of our five children are now in school. The 12, 10 and 5 year olds made it a point to show up in mommy's Hummer the first day. What is it with kids and Hummers?

Hey Doc, I hear the Pot Holes in Moses Lake is great for sand wheeling. Have you been there?

My neighbors go all the time with their ATV's and beer. I haven't been yet. It's probably one of the largest areas on this side of the state. Are you planning on heading out there sometime? I know it's just south of moses lake. I was speaking with my bro-in-law last week and he was thinking about taking a run to the Naches Trail, or parts of it...Have you tried that? Hey, if you're gettin' rid of your H2, how are you going to haul your family out for wheelin'?!?!?

"SAND DUNES
Hike, slide, or ride your off-road vehicle on over 3,000 acres of sand dunes south of the city of Moses Lake. Go four miles south on Division St., then follow the signs - and six miles of gravel road - to the ORV park. Camping is permitted here, but there are no facilities."

Kindergarten! My oldest was so excited. My wifey was too(That means only one to wrangle not two).

Yep, the looks and waves we got when we dropped him off in the Hummer. H2s are still a rare sight here.

They grow up too fast.

"Little Mama" just turned three and I have never had her in a daycare or preschool setting.
She has an older woman that has cared for her when I work and couple of days a week since she was 4 mos. So it has always been one on one. I have been looking into preschools and was going to put her into one early this month, a "Montessori Academy", more for social skill development, she is very smart and we teach her basic things at home.

It is supposed to be the best, but when I went in to tour and observe, I just couldn't do it. I just couldn't see her there, the play area was very small and the kids had snot etc... And they wanted her there 5 days a week! It kinda freaked me out. I would miss my beautiful, sweet, good smelling, soft and tiny little sidekick.

Anyway, I should be free of both during the day but I have to find a better place first. Until then, I get to play with my beauty.

Has anyone had experience with a Montessouri school?

My youngest started kindergarten on the 2nd. Now my wife doesn't know what to do all day. She misses her "sidekick" terribly.

Hey Paragon, you survive Katrina? I've was in Mississippi for the past two weeks. Our assisted living buildings in Biloxi and Hattiesburg where hit hard and we had to relocate those residents to Jackson. We still can't locate many of our staff.

Yep, with a little damage. You should have looked me up while you were here, although I was fairly inaccessible until a little over a week ago due to the storm.

If you need any help in any way down here, PM me and let me know. Also, let me know if you come back this way.

Will do, thanks. I stayed at the Cabot Lodge, along with 10 thousand other families. I also ate fried pickles for the first time! In fact, there wasn't a damn thing that wasn't fried at every meal!

It funny how the cultural food differences are among the states. The local TV station was interviewing a teenage girl that was displace out in LA due to the hurricane and she was saying how yukkie the food was out here, all the Californians have is burritos, nothing fried.
I was thinking I have the same problem when I go to the south, everything is fried...

Have you ever tried a deep-fried twinkie? Or a deep-fried snickers bar? It's actually pretty good, if you don't think about the fact that it's deep-fried.

You guys have all shown an amazing amount of restraint in this thread. I'm proud of you all. lol

Good looking family kacyk. My son just started preschool. He's only 3 and he's already leared to brag about dada's Hummer truck, with no help from me I might add.
