I am picking up my new H3 red adventure monday. How well will the Bridgestone tires hold up for offroading in AZ? The rocks here tend to cut weak tires (like wranglers) up pretty good. I had BFG T/A's on my discovery, should I swap out the stock tires for BFG's????? Thanks

Yes, I would recommend you do, I have BFG KO on my Blazer, they're the best. On my H3 I was disappointed by the horrible performance of the Wranglers, I am getting a new set of 275 BFG KOs soon.

I would be careful with the BFG A/T the road noise is kinda loud.I put 33 inch BFG A/T a couple of weeks ago and returned them the next week.I now have 33 inch Michelin LTX M/S,I do alot of highway driving sound is much better.

Just got the truck yesterday. Royal in Tucson wanted $1100 to install BFG KO's. I will probably just get some more aggressive tires next year on some cheap rims for wheelin.

When researching replacement tires for my Jeep a few years ago, I found that most rated the Bridgestone's as being almost as good as the BFG AT's. I opted for Yokohama Geolander HTII Plus, and I love 'em.
However, yesterday, I read an engineering article on the development of the H3 and something really stood out. Bridgestone worked directly with the H3 chassis engineers to overcome a problem with wheel hop while off road, and the answer they came up with was to add 2.2 lbs to the side walls of these particular tires.
I would wonder if the Bridgestone replacement tires would have the same modifications, and if another tire would require this added weight.
I can tell you from experience, this is not unusual, Goodyear produced unique tires for the Cadillac Catera, by reversing the tread blocks. These tires were offered for replacement tires, but normally had to be ordered.
As for Wrangler RT/S tires, in my opinion, they are highway tires only, and as for off-road, they are worthless.

BFG are great Although the Bridgestone isnt a bad choice either. I will wear these out then Buy some BFG's.
