i mod cars as a serious hobby....
what v8 might fit? i ask because im not at all familiar with gms line except the c6's.
it would not be that big a deal to put the v8 in myself as long as i dont have to make my own ecu adapters etc....very easy if the engine pretty much drops in, hook up the ecu and away u go... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Well, you have never tried to modify a Hummer to fit a V8 under the hood, and the mods required are extensive.
(ME TOO)
The existing engine is fine for on and off road. How fast can you really traverse slickrock? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I agree with the engine power, but a 100 hp I think would more than satisfy those that have to get 0 to 60 wuicker than 9 seconds or whatever we get.
"HOw fast can we traverse slickrock? Well, after this last trip I was on? FAST! I followed (correction: tried to keep up with) PhilD and Alec. I think the H3 has pleanty of power (esp. in 4LO) to climb all the slickrock you can throw at it... provided the driver can get up over some of those insane ledges.
TAIL RATED!
I hope thay don't change the grill or body??
