I have heard, what you need to do is find the box behind the radio with the yellow connector, and whack it with a hammer!
OMG, Just kidding! don't get near that thing!
BTW: I got one of those "Carchip" things. I got stopped for 30 min, by a train, on my way to work. I got a "letter of warning" for attendance. So, I printed out the chart that showed it all. They tore up the LOW. They were amazed I could do that... 
It even showed that I could not go faster than 98MPH!
