It sounds wierd, but when ya use it kinda makes sense. Let's assume we're leaving that option enabled. I on screen use right and left arrows to select a category, then using Seek button, it will go thru ONLY the channels in that category (like News), or if you want to just change channels you use tuning knob. It works with the hard keys cause there are no soft keys for tuning or scan/seeking. When option not enabled, Seek just acts like tuning knob. Not even sure why it is an option. Maybe you were thinking that when you had a category on and hit select, the right and left soft keys would only go thru that category?
Radio took a little getting used to, but works great! Not an AVIC, but it will do!

What I thought was when the Categoty came up on the left..the "Select" key would go their and then you could tune within that Category with the hard Tunig knob. . Eeeeehh...!! ....Doooooooooh..!! Wrong.




Anyway... I'll play with it somemore tomorrow. I'm sure the Pioneer has more to offer but I kind of like this unit. It does have it's draw backs like no input for Back up cam or DVD or on the fly NAV programing but..I'll make do for right now with my GM Product.

I'm a Happy Camper ...I'm enjoying my rig and all the GM gooodies.
