Default Re: Cordless Impact Wrench

Tim, I take it you probably have not seen the Dewalt 36 volt impact yet...

Ree,
There are TONS of choices out there. First of all they do work, and quite well if you get a good one. My buddy just picked up the new IR 18 or 19 volt gun with the lithium batteries, he loves it. It get used every day and he only charges it once a week, plus the batteries come with a charge warentee for something like 2500 charges. I personally have a Snap-On 18 volt. I've had the thing a few years now, it takes abuse like a champ. To date I still have not smoked the motor and I have tried. I still have the same battery, which still works fine, and I use it probably 4-5 times a week. Though its not cheap, my votes for Snap-On, trust me on this one... I have an H1, therefore I need to use my impact all the time.

Home Depot has them. http://www.homedepot.com/prel80/HDUS/EN_US/diy_main/pg_diy.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1355972368.1174002805@ @@@&BV_EngineID=cccjaddkgmhlkfecgelceffdfgidgkg.0& CNTTYPE=PROD_META&CNTKEY=misc/searchResults.jsp&MID=9876&N=2984+3966&pos=n24
