I have Sirius in both my other vehicles. The wife and I LOVE sirius and have been less then impressed with XM.

So, how does this coverter work? Where do you install it? Does it work with the radio interface in the truck, or do you then need to add a Sirius radio to the end of the coverter?

I have a "PIE" adapter in my Corvette. The way that one works is that it ties into the CD Changer cable and coverts the plug to RCA inputs. Then, I just split the Sirius radio output to RCA and I am in business.
