the steering should not have locked up, but would have been very difficult to steer. Sounds like someone forgot to take their Flinstone One-A-Day's today.

I'll bet the brakes felt kinda funky too,just imagine your driveing a pre WWII Buick no power brakes,no PS,no auto trans and weighed about the same as a truck. ain't so bad once your used to it .

Yea, until the steering wheel snaps back and takes your fingers off! Just like my old 1970 ford pick-up...bruised knuckle driving.
