That's what I'm thinking. Even if the spare is used for a flat replacement... It'll only be on there long enough to get me to a flat fixer..or I'll end up repairing it myself (Which I have already done) with one of those "butel rubber" push in plugs.
Most of you guys going off road carry one of those plug kits with and air compressor any how..don't you..??

Prefer to rotate in spare for longer overall tire life

Good point ..Didn't think about that. Kinda Sorta gives a 5K mile break to one tire at a time.
