I agree....you got way more use out of the battery than expected. could last another couple of years or could die tomorrow. The cost of a battery is cheaper than the cost of a tow...

A new battery after 5-years is a pretty good investment.

I'd rather replace in in my driveway on my terms than be stranded in the boonies.

Go for an Optima.

There is no optima that will fit and give you the 880 cca the H2 requires,the group 79 is the proper battery for your H2. an optima side post will fit ,but will not have 880 cca . it will work just fine but is not the correct aplication . you got lucky for the first battery to last more than 4 years.

I looked at the Optima's today and they tell me the red top will fit but you suggest the yellow top. As mentioned, the CCA's seem to be light on these batteries and only have a one year warranty. I wonder if they are big enough.
