I hope they dont ruin the brand anymore than they already have by making the new models futuristic looking. They have already downsized the brand, the h3 still holds the classic hummer look though. But as for the hx it just isnt Hummer.

Search is your friend...

Regarding the H2 : "The final frame assembly is made up of 3 sections. The front uses a modified GM 2500-Series utility frame. The mid-section is all new and is completely boxed. The rear section uses a modifed GM 1500-Series frame which is upgraded for 8000 pound gross vehicle weight."

Regarding the H3: The H3 frames starts off as an H3 frame. Some components are shared, but pretty much every component is modified or in some cases completely different. Fully boxed, added crossmembers, modified components = new frame.

The H2T we've seen tested could be a mule for the new driveline, doesn't mean the body will stay the same.

And your opinions on the HX make no sense. Offroad spec wise, it's the most capable HUMMER since the H1. 56 degree approach angle, 51 degree departure, 25 degree breakover, and 13 inches MINIMUM ground clearance, sounds like a HUMMER to me...
