I managed to find SMA parts in the 'titanium' finish and had my hood handles, hood latches, door buckets and handles and hood vents all powdercoated gloss black. Much easier than painting the plastic pieces and now all of the parts are metal...

good question............ I've never had black chrome, so I wouldn't know the answer to that question.

They have completely differnt looks. The powder coating looks true to color whereas teh black chrome is not black--more like a dark colored chrome.
