another thing to consider is the "Chevy/GMC lean"

you have additional weight added to one side of the vehicle....

your spare tire ( If mounted inside) and your fuel tank are both located on the drivers side.

but.... both items are located to the rear of the vehicle, which the T bars dont really apply...hmmm
