Actually, there are couple other products that works really well on textured black plastic bumpers and parts.


1. Wizards Black Renew. Excellent cream type application that actually lasts.

2. Gatorback coating kit. Used on Avalanche and Escalade cladding and it is a permanent solution to faded textured black plastics.

No its not. I have used that on my 03 avalanche which already came with black caldding, but few parts were dulled and faded. I brushed them on and it came out really nice. Permanent fix, not temporary.

I still have 1/2 of a bottle of back to black by Mothers..... once I finish that I plan to buy the Griots stuff as it has a major nod of approval by all who have used it here. With the Back to Black I apply it every 3-4 washes as it does begin to fade off and get streaks in it.

I originally used the Mother's Back to Black but bought some of the Griot's last fall and it still looks good. Mother's is a good product for the black trim and Griot's is a great product.
