I like the interior of the 2008 but it's hard to rest your arm on the narrower door sill if you are tall. For me the seats are a toss up. I think the 2007 and older are softer, but that might be from the fact they've been sat in over the years and miles. I don't notice much difference in power but the 6 speed shifts a lot and drives you crazy until you get used to it, especially if you are towing or driving in hilly or mountainous terrain. It does get almost 2 mpg better mileage because of the tranny. The instrument panel lights at night on the '08 are much easier to read with the enhanced instrument lightning.
