Re: knocking noise while drive
How in the heck can a body mount cause an intermittent knock? I would get under there and shake the crap out of everything possible. If you find something loose that's most likely the culprit. Good luck

Yes, knocking, thumping, oil canning, bumping in the floorboard - there's lots of threads on this and bad or deteriorating body mounts if you search 2004 2005 technical. Search is your friend here.

I only felt it on the driver's side. Never had a passenger say they could feel it too. I only noticed it at speeds over 50. The easiest way to tell is to get that front end of the ground and shake that tire from side to side. If you get that wiggle wiggle wiggle then that's probably your problem. Apparently our H2' s are prone to hubs failing. Let us know if this happens to be your problem. I bought a brand new one from R A for less than $100.

Re: knocking noise while drive
HI every1
Ok I checked the two front wheel hubs ... they looks fine ... however while the driver side is steady with very little play ( not the Hub but the whole front end ) ..
The passenger side has some play , again not on the hub in fact when moving sound kind of the same bump noise I mentioned before
Is that play normal , any specific part to check .
Thank you all

Re: knocking noise while drive
So basically all you did was rotate and balance out the tires and the bump was gone???
If so way to go.
I know that when I diagnose patients, I always make sure to think "horses" first, not "zebras"... but given I would have never guess based on the info you gave it was that easy of a fix.
Good job....
PS even better for saving 900 bucks from the stealership

"horses" first, not "zebras" LOL
Well the real hero was the dealer guy , he told me to go and rotate the tires before doing anything else ,,, it took me a week to get the rotation cause I was sure it wouldn't do any good ... Fortunately I was so wrong
