Ok, so for the non monsoon radios the black plug that everyone suggested to tap into with the green wire turns out to be for the base radios is the same plug however its the pink wire w/ black stripe. Its on the same location as the green wire if I had the monsoon radio.

as for the parking brake, I was attempting to reroute the wire to the passenger side so i can tap into the kick panel and in doing so, I was under the steering column moving the brake sensor wire from the radio and low and behold i saw a lt. blue wire where the parking brake foot pedal is. I was like WTH, so I tapped in that and woohoo it worked!
