Driving on Ice

You'll get a good laught at this if you live where ice one the roads is common.

We are getting our annual "WINTER STORM" here in San Antonio. Lasts a wopping 2-3 days but non the less, a mess around here because I, like most, are inexperiance in driving in these conditions.

My question is, does airing down the tires help with traction on the ice? If so, what should I air down too?
