I assume E is right next to F correct? I also assume this is the pin behind the nav system?

E next to F, correct. Right behind radio/nav head. Wire color dark green and white.

I won't say disabling this signal will not allow the system to be changed while driving; however, on most of the newer Navs GM is using, the VSS is only used to help supplement the GPS signal (similar to aftermarket Nav systems). There is a good chance the serial data link is used to tell the Nav system not to allow all functions to work.
I would be curious if disabling the VSS does anything, but set a code. Good luck.

Ya I would be curious as to what it does as well. I think f5 may be right on the class 2 data from the BCM sending data but am not sure.

I will let you know, this is how I have done it in previous cars.
